“熱線為台灣第一個立案的同志組織，秉持著「同儕輔導」、「支持網絡」、「社區中心」、「同志人權」等理念，從電話諮詢開始，逐步發展出多樣化的社群服務，包含提供給同志父母、老年同志、青少年同志、女同志、跨性別等的聚會；同時也針對社會大眾提供性別教育、愛滋防治教育，並積極進行性別相關議題的政策倡導，以消除社會對同志的歧視與不平等對待，為了同志更好的生活而繼續努力！”
