AgentData is a trading name of Mitus Trading Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 07828387), registered office at Building 18, Gateway 1000 Arlington Business Park, Whittle Way, Stevenage, England, SG1 2FP.
1. The service
AgentData provides company intelligence including technology detection, business contact information, company profiles, and related data sourced from publicly available web pages. The service is available via our website, REST API, and MCP server.
2. Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
- Not create more than one account per person
- Be at least 18 years old
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. Plans and pricing
Subscriptions
| Plan | Price | Lookups per month |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 25 |
| Starter | $19/month | 1,000 |
| Growth | $49/month | 10,000 |
| Scale | $99/month | 100,000 |
Annual billing is available at a 20% discount.
A “lookup” is consumed when you reveal gated data (full technology names, email addresses, or team members) for a specific company. Browsing public company pages and searching does not consume lookups. Once a company is looked up, the data remains visible for 30 days without consuming another lookup.
One-time purchases
CSV exports and single company reports are available as one-time purchases. These do not require an account.
Payments
All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect immediately — there is no end-of-billing-cycle grace period for data access. Any data you have already exported prior to cancellation is yours to keep. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
Overages
Overage billing is opt-in. If you exceed your monthly lookup limit, additional lookups will only be charged if you have explicitly enabled overage billing in your account settings.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use AgentData only for lawful business purposes. You must NOT:
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or make available AgentData data to third parties
- Build a competing database, product, or service using data obtained from AgentData
- Systematically scrape, crawl, or extract data beyond your plan entitlements
- Share your account credentials or API keys with others
- Use data obtained from AgentData for spam, harassment, discrimination, or any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, gating mechanisms, or security controls
- Use automated tools to access the service except through our official API
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Use AgentData data to train, fine-tune, or develop machine learning or artificial intelligence models

One API key per organisation. API keys used from 20 or more unique IP addresses in a single day may be flagged for review.
5. Your responsibilities as a data controller
When you export, download, or otherwise use personal data obtained from AgentData (such as email addresses, names, or job titles), you become an independent data controller for that data under applicable data protection law.
As a data controller, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have a valid legal basis for processing the data (such as legitimate interest for B2B outreach)
- Complying with all applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and CCPA
- Complying with applicable electronic marketing laws, including the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) in the UK, CAN-SPAM Act in the US, and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions
- Honouring any data subject requests (such as unsubscribe or deletion requests) that you receive
- Conducting your own legitimate interest assessment where required
- Ensuring any communications you send using AgentData data are lawful and comply with applicable regulations
AgentData provides data for legitimate B2B purposes. We do not authorise or condone the use of our data for unsolicited consumer marketing, mass emailing without a lawful basis, or any other activity that would violate applicable law. If you are unsure whether your intended use is lawful, we recommend seeking independent legal advice.
6. Data processing agreement
If you require a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for your use of AgentData, please contact legal@agentdata.run. We provide a standard DPA for customers on paid plans.
7. Data accuracy
AgentData data is sourced from publicly available web pages and is provided on an “as-is” basis. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but we do not guarantee that any information is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose.
You are responsible for independently verifying any data before relying on it for business decisions, outreach, or any other purpose.
If you find incorrect data, you can report it via our website or email support@agentdata.run and we will investigate.
8. Intellectual property
The AgentData service, brand, website, software, and compiled database are the property of Mitus Trading Ltd or its licensors.
While individual data points (such as a company's publicly listed email address) may be publicly available, the compiled and structured dataset, including our classifications, technology detection, and scoring, is proprietary.
Your account grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the data within the scope of your plan for your own internal business purposes.
9. Export watermarking
CSV exports may contain invisible unique identifiers (including row ordering patterns and zero-width characters) tied to your account. Redistribution of exported data is prohibited and traceable. Evidence of redistribution is grounds for immediate termination of your account without refund.
10. API terms
The API is provided for programmatic access within the scope of your plan. We reserve the right to:
- Enforce rate limits per plan tier
- Throttle, suspend, or terminate access for abusive usage
- Modify API endpoints, response formats, or features with reasonable notice
The API is provided “as-is” without warranty. You are responsible for handling API errors and rate limits gracefully in your applications.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The service is provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied
- We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages arising from your use of data obtained through the service
- Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AgentData, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the service
- Your use of data obtained through the service
- Your violation of these terms
- Your violation of any applicable law, including data protection or electronic marketing laws
- Your violation of any third-party rights
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms. We will attempt to notify you before or promptly after any suspension, except where we are legally prohibited from doing so or where urgent action is required to protect the service.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@agentdata.run or through your account settings.
On termination:
- Your access to the service will cease immediately
- Data you have already exported is yours to keep, subject to your ongoing compliance with applicable data protection laws
- Your account data will be deleted within 30 days
- We may retain certain data as required by law (e.g. payment records)
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
