Connect

Claude (claude.ai, Desktop and mobile)

In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Paste the address below and leave sign-in off (in the newer dialog, choose No sign-in; in the older one, leave the OAuth fields empty). The company, technology and signal tools work straight away. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds it under Organization settings, then Connectors.

Clients that start servers from a command (for example Claude Desktop's config file) can run the npm package; leave out the last two arguments to run without a key:

Tools

All tools only read data. Without a key, the tools give what agentdata.run shows to a visitor who is not signed in, and get_person (one person's email address) is not offered. A field we could not find is left empty rather than guessed, and every email address that lookup_company returns carries its verification status.

Things to ask

• “What tools does linear.app run, and when was each one last seen?”
• “Find B2B software companies that use Intercom.”
• “How many companies use HubSpot? Show me the first 20.”
• “Look up a small local firm's website we may not have profiled yet, by its domain, and tell me what the company does (if it is new to us, ask again when the reply says).”
• “Which companies use Zendesk? List 20 with their sector.”

Switch signals are recorded as sites are re-crawled, so recent changes for a given tool may be few; an empty answer means none recorded yet.

Limits

• No key: 300 requests every 5 hours and 200 companies a day per network address. People using AgentData from claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude mobile without a key share one free allowance for Claude (Claude Code runs on your machine and counts per network address).
• Free key: 1,000 contact reveals a day, 5,000 requests every 5 hours and 5,000 companies a day. No card. Create a free account.
• Pro: higher allowances; see pricing.

Responses end with a usage line, so an agent can pace itself. When an allowance runs out, the reply says when it resets.

Privacy and data

• We receive each tool's name and inputs (for example a domain or a filter), never your conversation with the assistant. The MCP server keeps no copy of requests or results. Details are in section 5 of the privacy policy.
• Data comes from companies' public websites, DNS records and HTTP headers. Our crawler obeys robots.txt and identifies itself as AgentDataBot.
• Anyone can ask for their data to be removed at data removal.
• Terms of service apply to the MCP server as to the API.

Troubleshooting

• “Not profiled yet”: the company is queued for crawling. Ask again when the reply says, usually within a few minutes (about an hour when the priority queue is busy); nothing is charged.
• No get_person tool: personal email addresses need an API key. Add the Authorization header, or use a client that can send one.
• “The API key was rejected”: check or regenerate it in Settings.
• A limit was reached: the reply says when it resets; wait rather than retrying.
